History
Hever Castle
Hever Castle is probably our most popular local attraction. Built in 13th century it has huge historical significance being the former home of Anne Boleyn (second wife of Henry VIII) and the Astor family who owned it for 80 years from 1903. It is a wonderful day out for both adults and children alike, there is something for everyone. The castle itself, Italian ornamental gardens, rowing lake, the ancient yew maze as well as the water maze, have a go archery and jousting in the summer months.
